LA's favorite tropical pool party is back.

Bananas is back at Hotel Ziggy for another afternoon of sunshine, poolside chaos, and tropical energy in the heart of West Hollywood.

Built for the party animals, Bananas blends pop music, swimwear, animal print, and a crowd that knows how to make the most of a summer Saturday. Think Rio meets LA pool culture, with a soundtrack of the pop hits you actually want to hear and a dancefloor that just happens to be next to a pool.

Whether you're floating, flirting, tanning, dancing, or all four at once, Bananas is where the jungle takes over.

Animal print is encouraged. Main character energy is encouraged.

This month's soundtrack comes from DJ Jae Fusz (1PM–3PM), warming up the pool with feel-good pop and tropical grooves, before Mark Kanemura (3PM–6PM) takes over with high-energy pop anthems to close out the afternoon.

Yes, Bananas is a queer-centered party celebrating self-expression, freedom, and fun for all. Everyone is welcome, and we’re totally straight-friendly too. Come as you are and dance with us!

♿ Is the venue accessible?

Yes! Hotel Ziggy is fully accessible.

🔞 Age requirement?

This is a 21+ event. A valid government-issued ID is required for entry.

💵 Are tickets refundable?

No refunds, all sales are final.
✅ Re-entry is allowed with a stamp.

🎉 What’s the vibe of the party?

Expect high-energy EDM, tribal house, and pop/top 40 remixes think festival-style beats with a queer jungle twist.

👕 Is there a dress code?

Animal print is highly encouraged; cheetahs, bananas, zebras, you name it. Pool attire, swimwear, and playful party looks welcome.

🧥 Is there a coat check?

Yes. Coat and gear check is available throughout the event.

Coat check is $5 per bag.

🏖️ Will towels be available?

The venue provides complimentary pool towels for guests and event attendees, subject to availability.

If having a towel is important to you, we recommend bringing your own just in case.

🕐 When should we arrive?

Check-in starts at 1:00 PM. Early arrival is strongly recommended it gets busy fast.

🍽️ Will there be food?

Yes! Food and beverages are available for purchase from Hotel Ziggy’s poolside menu.

🍾 How do the tables/daybeds work?

Each reservation includes a dedicated daybed or poolside table for up to 4 guests, plus admission.

A $50 nonrefundable reservation fee secures your spot this does NOT go toward your minimum spend.

💸 Is there a minimum spend for table reservations?

Yes each table has a $350 minimum spend, which can be used toward bottles, mixers or non-alcoholic beverages.
Please note: The $50 reservation fee is separate and does not apply toward this amount.

🚫 Can we bring outside food or drinks?

No outside food or drinks are allowed.

🐾 Can I bring my pet?

The venue is pet-friendly, but we highly recommend leaving your furry friends at home the music is loud and the crowd gets wild, which may not be ideal for animals.

🚗 Is there parking?

Valet parking is available at Hotel Ziggy (paid directly to the hotel). There’s also a paid parking lot across the street.

We also highly encourage rideshare for a smoother arrival and peace of mind.
